DAVE CASEY
Executive Director, Bridge Sober Living Homes, Inc.
Dave founded Bridge at Valley Glen, a premier sober living home for men in Los in 2006. Dave and Bridge then partnered with John Stenzel and co-founded Bridge Sober Living Homes, Inc. In June of 2007, Bridge at Miracle Mile, a premier sober living home for gay men, was opened. Dave got clean and sober in October of 2005. Prior to founding Bridge, Dave was House Manager of a men’s high end sober living home in Los Angeles where he was also a graduate.
Before getting sober and in recovery, Dave spent fifteen years in the music industry – most recently as the founder and owner of Fifth Member Management – managing artists and composers as well as promoting jazz and world music. |

DANNY BENTANCOURT
Night & Weekend Manager, Bridge at Valley Glen
Danny began as a full time night and weekend manager at Bridge at Valley Glen in October of 2008. On January 11, 2010, Danny “humbly” celebrated his 4 year NA anniversary.
Four years ago Danny checked into Cri-Help Treatment Center. It was there that he surrendered and began working on the steps of recovery. After getting a year sobriety, Danny worked for two and a half years at Cri-Help as a Care Technician. During that time, Danny also worked as a live-in manager for Primary Purpose sober living home for men. Danny has also done some part time sober companion work. Danny is the publisher of a recovery magazine called Soul Ja’s N Recovery which he started 2 years ago. “It has all been an amazing and unforgettable experience.” |

JEFF BOXHORN
Day Manager, Bridge at Valley Glen
In January of 2010, Jeff started working as the full time day manager for Bridge at Valley Glen. Jeff states, “It has been a fantastic transition where I am able to witness the residents actually getting reintegrated into society as a direct result of using the tools they acquired from treatment and regularly attending meetings.” Jeff has 25 years sobriety and is a great listener with solid recovery.
Jeff began his journey of sobriety on December 17, 1984. Not happy with a sales job, Jeff accepted a job in 2004 with Visions Adolescent Treatment Center in Malibu, CA. After Visions, Jeff accepted a job working with adults at Renaissance Treatment Center in Malibu. Jeff has also worked as a sober companion that had him traveling both domestically as well as internationally. |

BRIAN STARK
Day Manager, Bridge at Miracle Mile
Brian has worked in recovery for the past 5 years and has been the full time day manager with Bridge at Miracle Mile since October 2008. Before Bridge, Brian worked at Alternatives Treatment Center. Brian is an active member of AA and CMA and is on a number of committees such as AALA and APLA and also a part of a number of volunteer groups that help those who are less fortunate and suffering from the disease of addiction as well as those suffering from HIV.
Through his work experience, Brian has learned to have compassion and empathy for all kinds of addiction and trauma, including his own. Brian states, “Working in recovery has given me a deeper sense of self and awareness of my purpose in the world.” Celebrating 6 years clean and sober, Brian practices the principles of the program in all his affairs and looks at the similarities we all share as opposed to the differences. Brian says, “Working in recovery has been rewarding because I am giving back what has been given to me. I feel it is God’s will for me. It is a constant reminder of where I have been and how my life experience, strength and hope can benefit others. Working with others who are new in the program gives me the gift of gratitude for my own sobriety.” |

SCOTT THOMAS
Night & Weekend Manager, Bridge at Miracle Mile
In October of 2009, Scott began working as the full time night and weekend manager at Bridge at Miracle Mile. This is Scott’s first job in the recovery field. Scott has a way with residents that make them feel comfortable and at ease talking about anything. In turn, Scott is able to share his experience, strength and hope and not only talk the talk but walk the walk of good recovery. Previous to Bridge, Scott worked for a motion picture industry trade union for 17 years. He states, “I learned to navigate well amongst the sometimes chaotic nature of this industry and the skills I acquired have served me well in the work I currently do in the recovery field with the newcomers.” |

KEITH LAMONT
Night Manager, Bridge at Miracle Mile
Keith has 5 years of sobriety and happens to be a sponsee of Brian S., Bridge at Miracle Mile’s day manager. Keith shares his recovery of a couple anonymous programs with the newcomers, including his own sponsee’s. We are lucky to have Keith for he knows how to identify and work with the newcomer. |
